What we keep, and what we never touch.

Skrimm reads your fantasy league so it can tell you what to do about it. This page is the whole list of what that means, written to be read and not to be survived.

Last updated 1 September 2026

The short version. We store your email, your Sleeper username, and which league you picked. We never see your Sleeper password, we can’t change anything in your league, and we don’t run analytics, ad networks, or trackers of any kind.

What we store

The whole list, in plain terms. If something isn’t here, we don’t keep it.

WhatWhy it exists
Email and password So you can sign back in. The password is hashed, so we can’t read it, and neither can anyone who steals the database.
Sleeper username To find your leagues. It’s the public username, not a password. We also keep the numeric ID Sleeper returns, because usernames can change.
Which league So the app opens on the right one instead of asking every time.
Your session One cookie so you stay signed in for 30 days. We store a hash of it, not the cookie itself.
App preferences Small things like which screen you were last on.
What we advised The recommendations we gave you, kept so we can check later whether they were any good. It is how the engine gets better; nobody reads yours individually.
Waitlist email Only if you asked for early access. Deleted once you have an account, or on request.

What we don’t

What we read from your league

Skrimm connects to Sleeper with read-only access, using your public username. It reads your rosters, your matchups, the league’s scoring settings and who else is in it: the same things anyone in your league can already see.

It cannot set your lineup, submit a waiver claim, accept a trade, or post in your chat. When Skrimm tells you to do something, you do it in Sleeper yourself. That’s not a limitation we plan to remove quietly.

Who else sees anything

Four kinds of third party are involved, and none of them get your account:

How long we keep it

Your account and its data stay until you ask us to delete them. Sessions expire after 30 days of not being used. League data isn’t stored long-term. It’s fetched from Sleeper when you open the app and kept briefly in memory so twelve people in the same league don’t trigger twelve identical requests.

Who holds it

Skrimm is an independent project, run from the United States. The data above sits on servers rented from Render and is looked after by one person. There is no company with a data team behind it.

Getting your data out, or deleted

Email hello@skrimm.com and say which you want. We’ll send you everything we hold on you, delete it, or both.

Being straight with you: there is no delete-my-account button in the app yet. Until there is, deletion is a manual step on our side and it happens because you asked, not because a script ran. If that matters to you, it should. We’re telling you rather than letting you find out.

Where you are

If you’re in the UK, the EU, or California, you have specific rights over your data: to see it, correct it, take it elsewhere, or have it erased. The address above is how you use them, and we don’t need a reason.

Children

Skrimm isn’t built for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly keep accounts for them. If one exists, tell us and it goes.

When this changes

If we start storing something new, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. If the change is one you’d care about, such as a new third party or a new kind of data, we’ll email you rather than hope you re-read a policy.
